How can you use the different social media platforms as a way of showing the story of your practice to a globalized but niche audience? How do you create a sustainable social media presence that is part of your process, adding value and feeding back into your practice?
Ben Carter, Lia Tajner and Carole Epp bring together years of experience with social media. Each has worked to represent and grow ceramic maker communities online, alongside establishing their own work and successful careers as makers. They will address the use of social media as a tool that has changed the methodologies in which communities are formed and audiences are educated. Focusing on how individual artists play valuable roles in artistic education, collaboration and marketing online, they will discuss how artists can become the authors of their own career paths, success, and visibility online.
