In this demonstration Trudy will focus on strategies that encourage a personalized approach to making and using Paperplaster press-molds and hand-building. Trudy will also cover decorating and glazing techniques that start at the raw and leather-hard stages that set the stage for subsequent glazing and firing. The aim is to unlock the potential of rich surfaces that enhance and support the ceramic object’s form.
